Tori Wade is an inspiring young performer and dancer with a supportive Instagram following who look up to her for her amazing skills and techniques.

Dance Zone was lucky enough to welcome Tori to our store where she shared her professional advice with young dancers.

1. How long have you been dancing and what inspired you to start?

I’ve been dancing since I was 2 years old, my mum owns a dance studio so I was always dancing with the Seniors until I actually had a class dance myself. I was pretty much born into dancing!

2. What is your favourite style of dance and why?

My favourite style of dance would have to be Lyrical and Contemporary. It has always been my strongest because I like feeling the music and feeling the movement.

3. Who is your inspiration?

My inspiration would have to be Briar Nolet, she’s a dancer from Canada, Briar is the same age as me and she is absolutely amazing.

4. How did you become the Cali Kisses Ambassador?

I was at Showcase Nationals on the gold coast and entered the model search, won it and got to go to America and do photo shoots and now I’m a CK girl!

5. What are your plans for the future?

I would love to move to LA and be in Travis Wall’s company, Shaping Sound. That would be a dream come true, or to be a well known dancer and choreographer.

6. What is your advice for young dancers?

Have faith in yourself. When you’re in class you have to realise you’re not going to be strong at every style. Focus on your weakest and that is going to make you amazing. What I’ve learned is that you have to be good at all styles of dance to make it in the industry.
